• First Wednesday of the Month - 12:00 p.m.
• Third Wednesday of the Month - 6 p.m.
We have two options for people wanting to get involved with our club. You can join us as a Member or a Friends of Optimists (FOO).
The Piper Creek Optimist Club - Ladies Gala is the premier ladies night in Red Deer, Alberta! 250 women support Red Deer Youth projects each year by purchasing a ticket for this entertaining event.
This is our regular lunch meeting held at the Coronation Inn.
Our Dinner member meeting is held at the Coronation Inn located in Red Deer's downtown.
Contest Information
The Piper Creek Optimist Club is holding a contest for an innovative and creative logo.
The club turns 25 years of age in September 2010 and we want to commemorate our history of raising and donating over $1,100,000.00 to Red Deer youth by developing a club logo.
The logo will be used on recognition materials, for web site purposes and all printed matter. One idea is to incorporate the Optimist International logo WITHOUT the words “Optimist International” which is located here:

The Piper Creek Optimist Club of Red Deer, AB, was incorporated in 1985 and operates as a non-profit organization, whose primary objective is to raise funds that support various youth programs throughout Red Deer and Central Alberta. The club maintains membership of 40 individuals dedicated to serving youth in the Red Deer region. The main benefits of working together with the Piper Creek Optimist club are provided below:
Over 1 Million dollars and counting! We donate all of our proceeds to Red deer youth. Want to see who we have donated to since we charted in 1986? We have donated almost 1.1 Million dollars and continue to raise money.
